WOW...It has een a LONG time since I've posted anything! Where do I begin now? Well, it might seem kind of backwards, but I'm going to start with the most recent stuff whie that is still fresh in my mind and work my way back to other happenings.

June was a busy month for us at the Comatis house! Alyssa turned 4 and we had a birthday celebration for her. Nonnie bought her a "Belle" dress (from Beauty and the Beast) which she insisted on wearing for like 3 days straight! Since Belle was her favorite princess for the month, I made her a Belle cake, too!

Alyssa also had her 3-yr old preschool graduation that same week! The ceremony was cute - nice and short! Of course, they sent home invitations to an "ice cream social", not a "graduation", so I wasn't totally prepared. I had used my digital camera so much the night before that my batteries were just about dead! I think I got one picture of her ceremony :(

Nicholas also had a big ceremony in June. He graduated from kindergarten on June 19th. Along with all of us, Nonnie and Marsh came and so did Eric and Alex! Nicholas was happy to have so many people there "cheering him on!" Eric video-taped just about the entire ceremony for me - at my request. (He probably won't be coming to any more of my family events!) I didn't get very many good shots of the actual ceremony because it was hard getting a good shot while keeping Emily in one spot! Thank goodness for Alex, who entertained her most of the night.

I did manage to get quite a few good shots of Nicholas with his friends, though, after the ceremony. To the left, he's with our neighbor, Lauren. Below, he's with good buddies Kyle, Ethan and Michael!

Well, Emily is getting fussy now. It's about 90 outside and feels even warmer in my house! We're getting ready to head out to Nonnie's for a swim to cool us down! Stay posted all week, though, as I try to catch up on the past!
